I AM IN NO WAY FOR THE DUPING OF ITEMS. I have seen ppl say this is killing the economy. Whos economy is it killing the ones who are rich already.

There should never be a single item in this game that has a value any higher then 100k.

GOLD should be the only thing used to buy items with not ectos, rubies, diamonds etc.

Your more relaxed player who doesn't farm all the time makes enough to get by. When it comes time for a item they would like 100k should be all they need.

I for one dont farm fow or uw. When I see "selling ele sword 100k 50 ectos", to much.

One way anet could fix the market so everyone can get a neat item they choose is flood the market with the most popular items out there.

Prices drop then even the casual player can get one.

I have enough gold to get me by but I feel I shouldnt have to convert it to a material to buy something. Neither should anyone else.

Things i have
req 10 ele sword paid 75k for
mallyx Reaver 50k for
Tormented strength shield 100k
Scimmy req9 80k

I think that is reasonable for those items.
Look at titan gems anet found a way to flood the market with them and boom they sell for 15k ea now seen some for 12k ea.

Be it a game or not, people still have a level of caring. There's a person behind every character in this game. A Real one. We say these types of things and try to get people to do them so everyone who is affected has an easier time. Forgive me if I'm a "Nerd" who cares about only a game. (Which I'm not, but you can think that to your hearts content, I don't really give rat droppings.)

There's no need to point at people for thier concern for the general public. Knock it off.

He who decides to play with fire may get burned.

Keep the hands off the Armbraces, I thing the various threads on forums about people getting banned for buying them are clear enough.

Now they are even selling that 'hot stuff' for 10k, and one guy was spamming ES-1 Cavalon with a 'Free armbraces' page.
Yesterday there were (diffrent)guys in every major town spamming the free armbraces site. And something about farming 10 to 20 k in a hour ect ect

Emm... I was gone for about a month or so, and now I am home and I just read this sh*t. Is this really the solution? Banning everyone for THEIR mistakes? So what if ppl duped these items, I just arrived and let's imagine I bought one w/o knowing the consequences. And I'd get banned for that? This is ridiculous, really. I don't really care who duped them, how and how much he made from it. I just think that banning everyone is just plain stupid. Do they kick employees when balance is ... imbalanced? Just a simple example, when things get too big noone cares about the users and their minority problems... This is a fact.

Yeah, that would be great if we all played for 2 months and left -.-

The average player can make 100k in two months from starting playing on the average time frame. What comes after that? I've played this for a year now. (Got my first mini today actually.) PvP? Take your PvP elsewhere, it's not for me.

Sorry I don't want to cater to the lazy people who want to get the best ingame items with as little work as possible. I want more of a challenge and more of a place to go in my gameplay, as do many others. I don't think a minipet which now probably has 20 existing in the world should cost 100k.

The REAL solution to the Ecto problem you have conflict with would be to increase the money cap from 100 plat to 1000 plat or higher. But this isn't feasable anyway, being ecto prices and shard prices would drop dramatically, anyone who owned ecto would be robbed of cash, and all ecto farmers would be royally screwed.

On top of that, FoW armor would go far down in price, once again catering to the lazy community.

Your greed and short-sightedness disgust me.

I am broke in GW!
Show me you care! Preferably with ectos!
Now there is a real person behind a real problem.

Or maybe you care only about the things that benefit YOU?
If we don't care about GW it might crash and then YOU are out of a game.

Seriously - how many times do we offer advice? How many times do we give away items to people that need them more then we do? How many times do we help players with missions or quests? How many times do we act completely without ulterior motives?
I see this post as a cry to not take that last step. If the market crashes quite a few players will leave - just because there is absolutely nothing to do. And the game will start to crash. And the players like the OP will be left without people to play with. Well - you'll be playing.

Thumbs up

Economics! although I cannot say that I know it all but I can tell the best economy is a non existent economy where everyone has what they want. The "Economic Problem" states that there is a limited amount of resources in relation to humanities unlimited wants. Economics is, to a certain extent, about making the most of what we have and therefore making prices lower so more people can have more stuff.

So the a decline in the price of products can be considered a good thing, in fact low inflation, the constant increase in prices over time for a whole economy is considered one the the big 4 macroeconomic objectives.

What am I saying I hear you ask? well simply lower prices imply efficient economy = good economy. I am not is support of duping just annoyed to see another topic saying that some random product being cheaper is a bad thing for the economy when it is one of the better things imaginable.

I dont know that there are some dupers in Guild Wars..until I saw the thread in Guru yesterday.
I TRUSTED ANET that they'll prevent those things (like dupe or somthing)NOT happened.
BUT GG said they had "NOTICED THIS LONG TIME AGO".
Why dont stop those dupers before they offer ridiculous amount of armbraces buying rare minis?
Why dont stop those dupers before they ruin the market of GW?
ANET just NOTICED dupings and did NOTHING.

I sent a mail to [email protected] but they haven't give me a response....
Sorry to hear dude, but it sounds like your account may be well on its way toward a permaban.

As for the market, I'm staying away from buying/selling things until everything calms down... I suggest everyone else do the same until ANet stops driving their ban-mobile.

You can sell your soul to the devil thats you choise but i rather earn my money by playing than this lame freaking xploit

Prof of Black: If you think you are innocent, appeal. If you are innocent, I'm sure they will reinstate you.

One thing to learn from all this: Greed is Bad. I learned this back when I was a noob and lost 4 Black Dye (back when Black Dye was worth over 10,000 gold) by being greedy and trying to sell it to a player rather than get a little less from the Trader. I got scammed and learned a valuable lesson:

Greed is bad. If you see a deal that's "Too good to be true", it probably is. Be suspicious, be cautious, and look up the value of everything before you trade it. That's the best way to keep from being scammed, banned or anything else bad happening to you.

Peace.

About buying armbraces and the annoying SPAM about it, well, the thing making me laugh here is NO ONE is selling armbraces at all, so, why people SPAM that bull?

Let me speculate: You bought "some"? hmmm? like 1000 or more? to your own other account when you duped yourself the items? or...?? // Any resemblance to any real events is pure coincidence
